Afraid to Sleep

Darken soul, flowing wild

those monsters inside my head,

since a troubled young child,

 

within my lifetime, i do dread…

 

Gripping coolness throughout

the haunting darkness,

a confused adult, a grown child no-less.

To afraid in laying, down

thy head to rest!

 

Flowing horror, blood fill steam

shivered emotions,

a life struggling theme…

 

Torturing waves, polluted ocean,

wakening,

within someone else’s,

bad

daytime dreams…
